Agent Software License (EULA)
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) governs the IPUIPU agent software you install on your own systems (Linux and Windows), including its self-update components and, on Windows, an optional kernel driver used by the blocking feature. It is part of the Terms of Service.
1. License grant
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the agent on systems you own or are authorized to manage, solely to use the IPUIPU service for your workspace.
2. Restrictions
You may not redistribute, sell, or sublicense the agent; reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except to the extent permitted by mandatory law; remove notices; or use it to monitor or block networks you are not authorized to manage.
3. Privileged operation
The agent requires administrator (root) privileges. On Windows, the blocking feature may install a signed kernel driver. You are responsible for ensuring installation complies with your organization's policies.
4. Updates
The agent verifies cryptographically signed releases and applies updates according to your workspace's approval and canary settings in the console. Unsigned or tampered releases are rejected.
5. Data
The agent transmits network metadata (such as IP/MAC addresses, device names, port and header information — not packet payloads) to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Open-source components
The agent includes open-source components listed at /static/legal/agent-third-party-notices.txt; their licenses apply to those components.
7. Term and termination
This license ends when your workspace or subscription ends or upon violation. On termination, uninstall the agent from your systems.
8. Warranty and liability
The agent is provided “as is”. Warranty disclaimers and liability limits in the Terms of Service apply to the agent.
